Ros began her career as a design engineer in the construction industry and then returned to geology, working in and then managing a company specialising in structural geology; delivering software and consulting to the oil industry.

For 10 years she worked in technology transfer - or more simply put - translating new science into a language that investors, customers and the everyday person can understand. This includes protecting intellectual property, designing a company, developing a brand, raising cash through applications, building networks and everything else that running a small company requires.

​

Nowadays she is using her diverse skillset to help small businesses with their next stage of development. This usually means being the objective, common sense bit when someone is faced with a set of difficult decisions. Help to work out a new business strategy and designing a series of next steps to achieve it.

She is also quite practical in either doing or finding someone else to do something useful.
